Yeaaaaa. Pretty sure Andy Reid trades a 4th for Pitts and turns him into a HOF Kelce-replacement this spring.

Bijan and Drake are at the top of their game and it just doesn’t matter -_-

I’m not sure if you’re baiting or not but…

between Dodd Frank, the equal rights act, fair lending practices and the consumer protection bureau…

it’s hard to argue that the regulatory environment is worse for home ownership now than it was 100 years ago.

But housing-as-investment doesn’t work in an era of approximately-zero population growth.

And it’s not like usury was invented in 1995.

One time I read someone say “housing can’t be both affordable and a good investment.”

So I think we’re on the same team…I want affordable, stable housing for my community and I think we should use every tool we have to make sure it’s reality.

I’m not trying to shill for capital but it’s wrong to say that “build houses” ignores the investment-consumption problem.

If there were 900% more houses, no PE firm would be buying them up. At some point even they would become unprofitable.

What am I missing here?

it could make sense to make stricter rules around who can buy a home—preferring primary occupants.

But wouldn’t encouraging more housing supply discourage the investment behavior?

Investors buy *because* they think the shortage is durable.

Can you be more direct? What should we learn from the banking crisis?

More supply of housing sure seems like an important component to stabilizing house prices.

I have to believe that someone at the ad agency said “it’s impossible to screw up a bacon ad.”

Which kicked off a fun internal competition of which the client is totally unaware.

a major pickleball development was literally run out of my town because of noise.

...it was going to be on a lot sandwiched between the interstate and a forest.

None of this is a joke. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice!

Yes! I was there on Friday.

For me, Livewire is accumulating memory on every update in FrankenPHP. A big form was using 128mb+. It took forever to figure out what to do.

Did you sort out your obscure error?

Does the non awful news thing work? That’s a great idea.

Good for them for taking a swing at it.

Not having a chain is definitely creative.

Did it! this is great.

If you start by developing your knights and bishops early and save your queen moves for later, you’ll jump 100 points this week.

Have you written an article citing those experts and making the case?

I’d love to read it.

Oooh this looks great. I wonder if it can auto sync to Dropbox for a poor-man’s Loom

Yea it’s too willing to write one-off div’s.

It may be the biggest challenge I have with Claude right now.

Have you ever seen an update with e-bikes? I’d be curious how that compares
