I was on the fence between this one and the 5th gen, but in the end the monochrome display won me over

If it doesn't make any sort of noise then yeah, it might be

It just told me the date was set before 2008, the rest of the computer worked just fine.
Does it do anything when you try turning it on or is it just dead?
