My goodness, taught a four hour class at Story Institute, then did a 90 minute talk in a sociology class about queer theory at Langara College and then hosted the Celluloid Social Club. So much fun, but I am going to sleep very soundly.

I still can’t wrap my head around this—mayors of US cities are holding meetings, not about natural disasters or crime waves, but how to shield their own citizens from the president of the United States. & somehow, we’re supposed to act like this is normal. It’s not. It’s madness. - Blue Chronicle

I think it was George F Walker (maybe) who taught me that in the battle of Good and Evil, Evil will always win because Good always assumes the best while Evil plans and conives. Good is in a meadow, staring at a flower while Evil is coming up behind them to hit them on the head with a hammer.
