She can’t even get basic maths correct!
Nearly 50% of UK population are male. Immigrants are significantly less… about 16% (half of whom are likely to be female) and illegal immigrants are less than 1%).
So trying to say what we should focus on a smaller number is just plain stupid.

Hardly a ‘Bombshell’, a 0.25% reduction was widely predicted.
Usual panic headlines
But then I have always expected low standards from this comic, that is masquerading as a ‘newspaper’.
As usual they can’t even reach the terribly low bar!

Yes, that is exactly how tarrifs work. Consumer pays.
December 3, 2025 at 3:09 PM
As was predicted. There is no good form of Brexit. Brexit will always harm our economy.

Failing Greylings legacy.
Everyone was warned that there would be trouble ahead when he slashed the MOJ budget and staffing levels. Chickens coming home to roost!
December 2, 2025 at 5:44 PM
And despite the fact the Brexit was not the ‘will of the people.’ 28% of eligible voters did not vote, 49%voted against… including majority against Brexit in Scotland and Northern Ireland. That phrase is a made up lie.

Simply saying something twice does not make it true.

Um.., I think she will find that her forefathers were immigrants who murdered the original native Americans and promoted a slavery business model.
December 2, 2025 at 8:26 AM
🤣 well that is a bonus!

The markets liked the budget… and their view is much more important than a bunch of deluded hacks. They will have moved on by next week…
November 30, 2025 at 5:36 PM
The media seem to overlook that the markets liked the budget.
Whilst that is not the only group that matters, they matter more than a bunch of biased hacks.
Their opinions will all be chip paper next week.

So if every Brexit voter agrees to be accountable for their decision and voluntarily pay a Brexit tax (on either income or savings) then I can live with their decision. However, if they don’t want to do that, let’s have a referendum based on the knowledge that Brexit is bad for everyone!
November 28, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Yep. Tarrifs will do that!
November 28, 2025 at 6:06 PM
As the black hole is between 40-50bn…there is no problem without Brexit. The root cause of the economic issues in the U.K.
November 28, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Every reputable independent report points out that Brexit has a significant negative impact on the economy. So if you are so confident that Brexit is good, perhaps you would not mind paying more tax to cover the financial hole that Brexit created.
November 28, 2025 at 5:51 PM
Yes. Just goes to show you can’t please Daily Fail editors or readers!
November 28, 2025 at 5:45 PM
Agreed. Let’s ask the people who voted for Brexit to pay more income tax. They should not have a problem being accountable for their decisions.
Oh, and if there are not enough volunteers to own up voting for Brexit, then let’s have another referendum. We know the facts now! Brexit makes you poorer!
November 27, 2025 at 3:02 PM
Politicians of all parties put their party and themselves before their country. There are dozens of other examples for all parties. The real issue is that we don’t have proportional representation in a system that accommodates political parties.
November 27, 2025 at 2:56 PM
If Brexiteers are so proud of thier decision (and unbelievably some still are), perhaps they could pay an extra tax to compensate everyone else they have made poorer. Accountability should come with responsibility.
November 27, 2025 at 8:29 AM
Yes. That is exactly how they see ‘free speech’.
They are just following Trump. It is the approach that we saw in Germany in the 30s.
