For example (spoiler alert) there is a part where I'm taken completely out of the story at the cemetery. Instead of focusing on the loss of the two soldiers & the Army's response to their deaths I'm left focusing on the improbable "can he take you back to the base" situation.

2, I'm going to have to see if I can find the documentary because (as with most Tyler Perry movies) it's so "in your face" with the lessons to be sermonized (much like the white Chaplain that shows up Friday night) that the story gets lost.
