As neither of us live in his head or skin, I say that my stance is equally valid. He couldn't be the one to act as dishonorable as you are now complaining the current administration does.

That's only true for a straight up grilled american cheese. But a tuna melt will have mayo, and a grilled ham and cheese needs the middle tang. If you go full roast beef and cheddar melt you not only need mayo but a hit of mustard. Of course of its pastrami we aren't talking cheddar ...
