Very true, translation is one of the most difficult usecase, I remember helping a customer with success/warning/error messages last year, which began as a simple prompt quickly became a complex workflow, also from initial ambition of 11 languages it became 4..

But you are 3rd person today telling me that feedbacks are not common and somehow we have normalized this in the community. Or accepted it to be normal.

Thanks for the advice. Definitely it should be driven by passion. Totally agree.
One can still be transparent about the choices, and it's not about rejections but also selections. (1/2)

That can certainly be the case. Feedback is still a feedback

Great to know you have an internal community just for that. Nice, and that definitely helps.
But still the valuable feedback during the selection process is lost.

I beg to differ, I believe it's kind of important when you are reviewing 200+ talks, how would you recall why you rated XYZ talk 6?
But having said that, you're free do the way you find it justified, and I respect that.

Don't you put a justification on a rating. Why is this a 6 or an 8. That's ideally one discuss during the review meeting. I'm talking about those. If you don't leave a comment on reviews, then it's difficult to publish comments. FYI, product pitch is a valid feedback.

I mean comments reviewers leave while rating a talk. Which is an optional field if I'm not wrong.

Is it possible to release the comments (both reviewer and community) annonymized with acceptance and/or rejection? @devoxx.com
