Considering there’s a massage parlour in the middle of town just a few minute walk from there (I imagine multiple but I’m thinking of a pretty conspicuous one), I can only imagine the level of clientele/workers on the street and it is grim.

Absolutely! I have gone to see bands in other cities that were playing 2 miles from where I live or missed tours altogether to avoid it. Everyone moans about it but still goes 🤷🏻♂️

There’s a venue in Manchester like this that is getting more & more gigs. If it’s sold out tons of people literally cannot get into the room where the band play & watch on screens in the bar. Means going to the toilet/bar during the band is nigh on impossible

It was insane before the GE when they were saying “no we are honestly going to be a very conservative government” - but at least idiots could pretend they were lying.

You used to get ‘groups of death’
3 decent teams in a group with 2 going through.
Instead they grew and grew competitors so you have 1 good team in a group and yet 2 (or 3!) going through 😭
At least with this champions league format you see decent fixtures in the early gameweeks

Whether it’s the World Cup, the European championships or the UCL (prior to the recent-ish shakeup) the greed for more games and more money has/had just utterly destroyed those competitions.
