The point was more that I’m terrible at judging these things in the moment, most fans are.

Arbitrary timelines are dumb. Move QH, if you have to, when and only when the very best return presents itself. Fan impatience and player feelings are irrelevant.

If this is to be a tank season and we have to endure a ton more losses, this is generally what I want them to look like.

Personally, I’m desperately routing for the Oilers to make the playoffs. That franchise isn’t to be trusted anywhere near a draft lottery.

We’ll see. EP40 seemed all but gone. Same with Miller before the extension. Talk is talk, especially with this management. There’s no doubt trade options are being considered but beyond that it’s anyone’s guess how this ultimately plays out.
