Now I'm imagining the parallel universe with happily (gay) married Turing and Powell (not to each other) and wondering how the past century would have differed. I wouldn't like to put all their strengths and weaknesses down to oppression, but it must have been significant.

My 10yr old just, for the qfirst time, accidentally turned on accessibility features on her laptop and couldn't work out how to turn them off.

One wonderful thing about being a parent is helping your children learn to navigate the challenges that the world presents. My little girl is growing up!

A WILD ONE: A man broke his leg during an arrest by ICE at a car wash south of L.A.

ICE has held him under 24/7 guard at a hospital, registering him under a pseudonym, for *37 days* without telling him why.

A judge has ordered his immediate release.
