I took these on infrared film with a 1950s Kodak Retina. They are taken through an R72 filter, which looks almost opaque, blocking visible light but letting infrared through. Plant life reflects a lot of infrared light and so looks ghostly white, while blue skies don’t, coming out nearly black.
