Pep: if you play well you run less. Enzo Maresca is doing a fabulous job at Chelsea, developing young players.
I hope England to do well in the World Cup #ManCity
December 5, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Pep: Rodri is not available this weekend but he is getting better. Ask me again if he’s available for that game.
If I’d been at home watching Fulham v City I’d have been happy. It must be game of the week. #ManCity
December 5, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Pep: Leeds & Fulham didn’t have too many shots but scored 6 goals against us. We need to improve that but we scored 8 so there are both sides to it. Of course we have to improve defensively.
O’Reilly is playing really well, the only reason Ait-Nouri doesn’t play #ManCity
December 5, 2025 at 12:44 PM
Pep: Sunderland deserve to be where they are. It will be a challenge against us.
I have a different excitement now than when I managed my first game against them when I first came.
I don’t have the words for my journey here since #ManCity
December 5, 2025 at 12:43 PM
Pep: Fulham is now forgotten, hopefully we learn from it. Of course I’m concerned and I try to make sure it doesn’t happen again. I’ve been a big fan of Marco Silva for a long time.
It’s part of our growth. #ManCity
December 5, 2025 at 12:43 PM
And that’s it from Pep, pre Embargo #ManCity
December 1, 2025 at 12:33 PM
Pep: I haven’t spoken to Donnarumma about his bookings - he has four.
Fulham will be a tough opponent. They make it difficult for the opponents. Rodri is not ready yet, i don’t know about the weekend. #ManCity
December 1, 2025 at 12:32 PM
Pep: against Bayer they played not to make a mistake rather than to create and win the game. You can’t play that way. #ManCity
November 28, 2025 at 12:42 PM
Pep: Bernardo will decide with his family what he will do (contract runs out at the end of the season)
Of course I would love him to stay.
I have an incredible opinion of Daniel Farke at Leeds #ManCity
November 28, 2025 at 12:41 PM
Pep: Rodri’s hamstring keeps him out again tomorrow but he’s getting close. I always expect my players to step up.
We didn’t try against Bayer, and I still have a lot of confidence in them. Maybe I think higher in them than they do themselves. #ManCity
November 28, 2025 at 12:41 PM
Josko: it was nice to win player of the year last season, but we didn’t win anything which is what I want to do.
I think Kovacic is coming back to the training ground today, but maybe we’ll miss him for 3-4 months. #ManCity
November 24, 2025 at 1:01 PM
Josko: I’m happy we are all fit, which makes it easier but we have a lot of work to do.
We don’t want to repeat what happened last season. We want to win every game.
Last season was for me the worst season, I couldn’t sleep at night. I’m glad that’s behind us. #ManCity
November 24, 2025 at 1:01 PM
Josko: I’m sure from now things will be much easier. It’s normal that we are all frustrated after the game at Newcastle and refereeing decisions.
Two months ago we were in a worse situation in the Premier League than now. We will see at the end. #ManCity
November 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM
Josko: every year I’m full of ambition. This is the competition that features in the best teams, one day hopefully I’ll win the trophy.
I think we have done really good this season, of course we prefer to play at home. #ManCity
November 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM
Pep: of course I would prefer Echeverri to play more often for Leverkusen.
I apologised to the cameraman for what I did at Newcastle. I am embarrassed by what happened. I’m an emotional guy.
Losing 4 games in 12 in Premier League means we definitely have to improve. #ManCity
November 24, 2025 at 12:43 PM
Pep: the fact that tomorrow is my 100th Champions League game in charge tells me I’m getting old, but it means the club are doing well. #ManCity
November 24, 2025 at 12:43 PM
Pep: apart from Rodri & Kovacic everyone else is available. It won’t be long until Rodri is back.
We are progressing well in this phase of the Champions League. They are third in Bundesliga so very tough. #ManCity
November 24, 2025 at 12:42 PM
Pep: Erling is incredible this season, breaking records and happy for Norway. He deserves to play in a World Cup.
Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes has been a great player for a long time, I really admire him #ManCity
November 21, 2025 at 9:15 AM
Pep: Bernardo is one of the best players I’ve ever worked with. He gives a team so many things, including mentality, which sometimes not shown in statistics.
Happy with Nico O’Reilly, hopefully he can remain stable but so happy for him and the academy #ManCity
November 21, 2025 at 9:14 AM
Pep: a team as strong as Arsenal, I have the feeling won’t drop too many points. At the same time we are in November. Now we play every three days until March and our aim is to be there.
Everybody is fit apart from Kovacic & Rodri, though he continues to make good steps. #ManCity
November 21, 2025 at 9:13 AM
Pep: Newcastle are top, I don’t look at the table, they have been one of the top games.
We have an incredible two keepers, James Trafford is so beloved coming through Academy and hopefully Donnarumma will qualify for the World Cup like the others #ManCity
November 21, 2025 at 9:13 AM
Pep: I think we are feeling better going into this game after the last two games and winning at Swansea. Liverpool have had good performances too, like against Real Madrid. We have the weapons to change things from the bench if needed #ManCity
November 7, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Pep: here you arrive at these games with a sense of rivalry it’s different with El Classico. We have created this rivalry with Liverpool and before it was Utd/Arsenal/Liverpool. #ManCity
November 7, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Pep: I agree with Alex Ferguson that football is about the players, it’s not false humility from me. Working hard is the key.
If Arsenal continue they way they are going it will be impossible to catch them but they have to come here and you never know what can change. #ManCity
