could it also just be the case that as a backbencher in Ottawa she can be a part of kid's lives much better than if she was responsible for hustling the provincial party back to power... I know that's not what she said but as a parent of young-ish kids that's where my mind went.

My understanding is that it’s not the line itself that is the problem but rather how the TTC/city is choosing to run it.

There are so many of us who were impacted by Dick's wisdom, his thoughtful manner, and the organization @munqeii.bsky.social that he helped shape. I was only around for Dick's final 6 months in charge but the impact of that time has stayed with me my entire career. RIP Dick, you will be missed.
