Phishers seem to be in the middle of a sustained campaign on GitHub using bots to send phishing issues on GitHub and make them look like normal email. Bots also can't be blocked wholesale AFAICT so it makes it hard to avoid these messages.

I think "vibe coding" is a perfect way to describe the unseriousness of giving full control over coding to an AI. It seems surreal that folks have embraced it and vendors have really leaned into it.

I love how deep research (especially in emerging areas) is likely just going to parrot the marketing and talking points for corporations rather than providing balance and nuance. It doesn't help that the media largely just repeats those corporate narratives.

Yeah. It's going to be a tough coolest August for the rest of our lives. The upcoming forecast does not bring any respite. 35+ degrees 70% humidity every day in July/Aug is the new normal. 26 lows at like 4am at best.

Yeah, I really think we'll something like 3-10% losses in the stock market *every day* until the tarrifs are lifted which I think might be months from now. I mean this is just an astounding psycological case study in the inability to admit mistakes.
