Just goes to show that the best way to understand EVs is to run EVs.
One problem I've heard here in France tho is that fleets are going away from EV back to ICE because they don't get tax relief in electricity!!
Just shows how hard FF Inc has forced counties to stay neck deep in their goo !

Just goes to show that the best way to understand EVs is to run EVs.

So I assume that you are driving a Ford Cortina? Because virtually all cars since the Renault Mégane have been using computers that gather data !
It's not Hyundai, not just Tesla's, nor just the Chinese that collect data.

Hmmm, over here in France I'm paying 0.186€ /kWh, so it has been super cheap for a long time !!

My 90D is 422hp, so that's actually 315kW. I got a bit excited saying 350kW but it's not far off !!

Yes I guess the buffer was fairly hefty. Mine didn't start showing any minus figures in % or km. It said I couldn't use the 250kW to 350kW area of the power tho. So I kept it below 220km/h !! Ha ha

That's the thing, the efficiency jump from ICE is already huge (30% to 90% ??) so currently not much need for rules.
But I'm sure a look at the Leaf battery/ motor to a BYD or Tesla battery/ motor setup would probably already show huge gains no ??

Very glad to see the Leaf 3 is a thing as the Leaf was my (and many thousands of others) intro to EV life and there is no going back !!

Among other EVs actually. Gave up killing the planet 4 years ago. Paying my penance for the miles driven through the 80s & 90s carrying so much damage
