Indigenous Australians are overrepresented in Parliament and routinely express a wide range of political views, many of which are silly. I feel like it's important to note that we're not going to get the white people out of the way and find the real unfiltered singular minority opinion

Strongly agree with most of this framework and think it's a good base to proceed from... I do think though that when minorities "speak for themselves" it often turns out they're just as politicised and full of bullshit as everyone else
