Desperately sad.
We have the means to protect children - but with vaccination rates dropping to their lowest in 10 years, so many are at risk.

In the 1960s the USA spent 4% of its budget on NASA, AKA the Space Race. By comparison we are doing *very* little on our own climate. The day is coming when we'll have to go Space Race in the name of repairing and improving the climate on the objectively FAR better planet Earth. #earthgoodmoonboring
A Met Office study reveals that the chance of exceeding 40°C in the UK is accelerating at pace.

The chance of exceeding 40°C is now over 20 times more likely than it was in the 1960s.

Temperatures several degrees higher than we saw in July 2022 are possible in today’s climate. bit.ly/4lfcTU4

First time caught speeding in 45 years. 36 in a 30 zone.Genuine mistake. VERY galling when I see excessive speeding every day on the M25 all types of vehicle. Today - pick-up with trailer with 1.5 tonne digger doing over 80 I would guess and they get away with it scot-free! #doublestandards

Dilemma! I always go for the underdog but I am a #Brighton supporter! Added to that if Palace win the cup it makes it harder for #BHA to get a European place 🫤

I have one grandparent born in Britain. Yet I apologise when people crash into me, weep at Nimrod, the John of Gaunt bit, Spitfires & Gazza’s Euro 96 miss. I believe Trafalgar Day should be a bank holiday. I would cage fight anyone who disparages Wollstonecraft, Stephenson or THE Marshal.

My grandmas were immigrants, my mum & sisters in law are immigrants; my sister & nephews are migrants. My kids study maths, Shakespeare, dance, act & score tries alongside the kids of immigrants. My dad’s life was saved by immigrants. Immigrants have made us richer, wiser, stronger

Win the fight

And those 'custodians of the countryside' #farmers are moaning about it!
Great news!
Thousands of miles of footpaths that faced being lost forever could now be saved after the government committed to lifting a deadline for all rights of ways in England to be mapped.
