Oral Presentation Award - International Association for Vegetation Science (IAVS)
Each year IAVS recognizes the young scientist - student, or holder of an advanced degree (undergrad/Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD) within three years of completion of his/her degree - who has made the most outstanding oral presentation at the annual meeting of the Association. The winner (first prize) is awarded 1000€ to be used to attend one of the subsequent two annual meetings of the Association. Winners of the first prize in the Young Scientist Oral Presentation Award in any of the previous years cannot compete for the award in this category again.
