You know if you think about it, timeline wise Spamton's big shot era had to take place in the 2010s at the earliest. Which got me thinking what kind of music spamton actually listens to.

I'm still not a believer of acid theory for canon Spamton, but it's always been a key aspect of Bugsy's story, so I can't change it.

I'm bringing my old bug AU back from the dead, mostly because I can add an ant tenna to go with Bugsy now.

I know everyone has done ant tenna by now, but I can't pass up an opportunity like this since I've had this AU since 2022.

Thinking of calling this like... the New Contract AU or something unless I come up with something better.

A look at this Tenna's design, showing his wire arms coiling together affectionately. The text reads: "An alternate timeline (based on the String Theory AU) where Tenna manages to convince Spamton to sign the contract with him, spill his secrets and stay with him in TV world. However when the Salesman continued to deteriorate, he tries to use the shadow crystal to save him and ends up corrupted himself. Tenna goes made from the crystal's power, and because he's so connected to TV world, it starts to corrupt the entire studio, leading to it being run down and broken. Tenna seemingly doesn't notice any of the changes and blissfully continues his old routine despite the condition of himself and the studio. He absolutely hates change or breaks in this routine and will often have a mental breakdown ranging from depressive episodes to violent rages if things don't go his way. He is obsessed with trying to fix Spamton and make things the way they used to be between them, but gets increasingly frustrated when nothing works."

The design for Spamton, where he takes on his usual puppet appearance, but still wears the big shot era uniform that is now too big for him. He looked tired and depressed. The description reads: "Spamton is a puppet trapped cosplaying as a Big Shot. His corruption from the Shadow Crystal progressed regardless of his choices, but he was now contractually obligated to stay in TV world and keep the show running. He is emotionally checked out and exhausted from trying to maintain a semblance of normalcy and holding the studio together, despite struggling with his own issues. Namely, dealing with chronic pain, memory loss, and hallucinations. He resigned himself to his role of keeping Tenna happy so he doesn't lose his shit and destroy the dark world, having given up on ever finding freedom until the Lightener's show up. He's often found hiding from Tenna, while drinking himself into a stupor."
