Beside us tonight at the Jets game a couple with their son, in from Hamilton. They usually go to Buffalo to see the Jets but came to see a home game. Love it!

On my way home through Wolseley I became invisible apparently as a driver almost ran me over. You have to be the world’s shittiest driver to not see me.

My daughter’s boyfriend captured my inaugural ride on my fat tire bike. Perfect for Winnipeg because the city doesn’t clear bike lanes often.

Been passing a fellow rider at the same spot for years. Always had him pegged as a teacher. A few weeks ago we passed at 7:45 pm after parent teacher interviews. I can always tell.

My Italian international students make fun of Canadian Italian food. Chicken parm. Not Italian. Their favourite Canadian food so far is garlic cheese toast. I said we serve that with Italian food and they laughed at me. I told them how I make carbonara. No no no apparently.

The apartment we rented in Yellowknife overlooked a place that had people coming and going at all hours. We saw some acts I didn’t need to see. 😳. I asked the cab drivers about it. “Worst place in Yellowknife” “I hate that place”. Anyway, it was good entertainment for 4 nights. 😂🤣
