Our amazing alum Dr. Luyi Cheng visited IBiS to give a BioProfessionals seminar about potential careers in science policy, followed by a Lunch and Learn event where grad students got to ask in-depth questions about Luyi’s career path and job knowledge. A lovely time was had by all! Thank you, Luyi!

A big congratulations to our amazing Eduardo Campos Chávez (Mondragón Lab), who was awarded the 2025 Presidential Fellowship from Northwestern’s Graduate School. This is the most prestigious fellowship awarded to graduate students at NU, and is a huge honor! We are so proud of you!

The Pinkett Lab recently published a review article: "Structurally diverse C-terminal accessory domains in type I ABC importers reveal distinct regulatory mechanisms."
