My views vary by issue but lean progressive. I’m open to compromise to restore balance and get legislation passed.
They had to edit a 5 min speech down to a 1 min commercial. I suggest you listen to the actual speech and you will find the commercial did as great job capturing the intent of Reagan’s message - tariffs used as weapons will spark trade wars and hurt workers.

Late-night comedy was already getting more political, but Trump’s nonstop antics, tweets & norm-breaking turned it into wall-to-wall satire. The format evolved—but Trump’s personality supercharged the spike.

Interesting how headlines call Charlie Kirk’s death an “assassination” while kids killed in shootings are just “killed.” The words we choose shape what lives we treat as politically significant.

These clowns argue that wind & solar are “useless” when it’s dark or calm. By that logic, oil is useless sitting in tankers or storage waiting to be refined. All energy needs infrastructure—renewables just cut the pollution middleman.

What Neil deGrasse Tyson says is all Democrats need for an effective platform: science = health, wealth & security. It’s also the antidote to Republican propaganda built on fear & denial.

As I prepare for another night of swelter, watching what I could quickly download and hoping my battery last longer that I do, I think PG&E for considering me a valued customer. Although I think I’ve fallen for that trick too many times. Pg&E don’t give a shit about its customers

The last time I experienced this was during my Peace Corps Stint in The Gambia, expected there, not here

Trump’s use of government power shows it can move fast on imaginary threats—yet after today’s Minnesota school shooting and countless others, that will is absent on real problems like gun violence.

Trump is simply a symptom not a cause. We don’t know yet what is the worst America has to spew forth until we understand the world view of those who voted for him and how that world view was manipulated

Obama talked about the ozone layer… and then helped lead the world to fix it by managing fluorocarbons. Trump talks about himself… and then goes golfing while the planet burns. One presidency healed the sky. The other polluted everything beneath it.

Critics of CA high-speed rail focus on cost, ignoring global proof it works—Japan and China show huge ROI. This isn’t just about speed—it’s about affordable housing, climate safety, and smart growth. Short-term thinking is costing us the future. CA with high speed rail becomes a dominant economy

What are you actually doing? I want to support but having difficulty understanding what I’m supposed to do. Just say Trumps bad and boycott every business so I bring additional hardship upon my self? State a plan! I agree with mark Cuban. Stop whining start defining

Rollin’s alleged “able-bodied” Medicaid number is a nationwide estimate. Ag production is highly localized in CA and AZ—and farm work is skilled, seasonal, and grueling.
You can’t just bus in random folks and expect them to harvest America’s food. That’s not policy—it’s posturing.

The U.S. needs immigration to offset a 1.7 birth rate and support long-term economic stability. But Trump isn’t anti-immigration—he favors selective immigration that mirrors an Aryan scorecard. It’s not about merit. It’s about race. #ImmigrationPolicy #DemographicReality

Hey Amy, I’m from California too—love your flag. It’s time our great state stops sidestepping the threat to democracy and faces it head-on with the strength of a grizzly.

Thanks for sharing—honestly, I hadn’t thought about it that way. As someone who didn’t grow up with these dynamics, I assumed environment shaped culture. But it makes sense that it’s more about how connected your family kept you to your roots, not just where you lived. Appreciate the perspective.
