While Deltarune shows is Toriel and asgore’s divorce was inevitable, Toriel wouldn’t have exiled herself in this au because humans weren’t being threatened. Chara and Asriel could have died differently in this au, by trying to find a way out in a different way. This idea could go a lot of places.

Hopes and dreams are mentioned multiple times throughout the game, but how would the characters fair if they had to create their own hope using only dreams? Could they do it? And it would affect the characters interestingly. What would undyne’s job be if not capturing humans? (cont.)

Anyway here’s mine. Absolutetale (absolute Undertale)(who could have guessed lmao). The change I’d make here is that the barrier is unbreakable. Or that’s believed to be the case, anyway. Since escaping is core to a lot of characters motivation, how would eliminating that option affect them?
