I really don't get it, and it bums me out. It especially hurts when an author HAD really distinct artwork on previous books and then a new book rolls around, and it's so clear that publishers forced them go with something infinitely more samey and bland.

It also occurs to me yet again, but I never thought to just ask: has anyone collected a list of all the books Rob's mentioned reading across podcasts? There's no way I could tackle this only starting now. But maybe someone started years ago...?
