Infection prevention colleagues:

@kalisvar.bsky.social and I are presenting the ‘year in infection control’ at #ESCMIDGlobal next month. We’d love to hear this community’s picks.

What were the most innovative papers in this field in the last year? What papers changed your practice?

Thanks for sharing this discussion. We usually only hear about the ‘wins’, learning from your experiences around recruitment is really helpful.

Probably the saddest episode we've put out as @1healthau.bsky.social @plr-aus.bsky.social and Kate Browne discuss the failure to get the Intermittent self-catheterisation study over the line. The disappointment is palpable. infectioncontrolmatters.com/latest/ #IDSky

This was a great discussion on the nuances and challenges of conducting this type of research🤩🤓

I thought the discussion about how the results of the impact of the intervention had to be toned down was very interesting. I would love to use this strategy for our nursing home patients!
