There’s a bit more merit to mgs3 considering it’s first chronologically speaking plus the twin snakes already remade the first in the solid series so it’s sorta like how re1 was remade like delta so the new trilogy just remade 2 and went from there but then there’s SH2 done due to its popularity

I chose Oscar Bait deliberately as the Last of Us is such a patted out game that clearly wishes to not be a game, he also was a major part of the show which he clearly cared more about regardless of the reviews

Adaptions can heavily influence the series going forward, remember when Starlord wasn’t just Chris Pratt in every appearance regardless of if what he was appearing in was tied to the MCU? The showrunners skipping the Greek era to chase the Last of Us like the games literally proves my point
