I've been doing street epistemology on Twitter for almost 10yrs now and in the last year, something has changed dramatically. No one seems to care if what they believe is true anymore. 🧵

For context, my sis and 2 bros haven't really spoken to me in the ~15yrs since I've left the church. Since I've moved in with my mom this year to care for her, it fell on me to prep and host Thanksgiving with them.

Y'all, I was not prepared for how civil and enjoyable it was.

Why I spend most of my time on Twitter still despite this app

I didn't even know this past weekend was #lds general conference till I started seeing social media posts from friends and family today in which Russell is once again threatening everyone with eternal family separation if we don't follow him. Glad I get to laugh at this instead of fretting about it.
