Huh? You do know what an opinion is, don't you?

What's a lie?

He doesn't need a source: he's literally said it's his opinion 🤦

Oh, Christ alive, what the fuck are you doing here? This place has been mostly a nice place, now you've arrived it has to be burned to the ground.

Unfortunately the usual response to this by climate deniers is that "the earth's temperature has always fluctuated". And this is usually by people that don't understand the basics like: yes, but with a rate of change this dramatic that coincides with the dawn of the industrial revolution

It'll affect America the must though: ALL their imports now have tariffs on them. Every other country has now applied new tariffs to only America

You've been doing standup since the 90s!!? Oof! 😅

Ok, sure, yes. I remain on topic and yet it's me being awkward. Hmmm 🤔

I'm not sure why you asked the question then. Because I've *only* ever been talking about referendums.
March 16, 2025 at 10:35 AM
Remind me, but we've only had a single referendum in the last 10 years. So, yes, considering the maybe amount of damage that single one did, I would have supported less referendums. But I think you think I'm talking about something else based on some of your replies.
March 16, 2025 at 10:29 AM
The whole reason why we have a government is so that they make the decisions and laws for our country. If we were to have referendums for all our important decisions then there'd be no need for government. But at the same time, it would be chaos and nothing would be accomplished.
March 15, 2025 at 4:04 PM
Let's turn this around: do we have a referendum for every decision in the UK? A referendum to increase taxes? A referendum to increase funding to the NHS? A referendum to bring back control of interest rates to the government? Where should it stop?
March 15, 2025 at 1:11 PM
No one here has said do away with elections though. Referendums for the most part are not particularly helpful, but elections? Of course they're needed. What a strange take to imagine we're saying to not have elections
March 15, 2025 at 12:35 PM
Yes. The last referendum has been proven to show the UK public cannot be relied upon to make very serious decisions on the UKs future. We, collectively, were not informed enough.

I don't think that's the purview of America in general 🤷

Yup, protect your children by anchoring TVs to walls. But don't worry about them being shot and killed in schools. They're fair game then.
