idk it's not high literature or anything, but rachel reid really knows how to get you to care for a character. and though i cant relate to ilya or shane's situations, there were many parts of the book that hit close to home, and im grateful for all the care she put into telling their story

tbh, i cannot recall ever reading a book that has made me sob the way TLG did, it's actually ridiculous. the middle third of the book had me putting down the book multiple times to collect myself, taking breaks to pace around the house, and open-mouthed sobbing into my couch, i wish i was kidding
