That's Tron. He fights for the User.
If you don't replace a single plank, but instead rename the legendary Ship of Theseus to the "Trump Ship of Theseus" is it still the same ship, or is it now a worthless hole in the water?

The last decade feels like the horrific setup for an elaborate "The Aristocrats" joke.

We never got around to watching Elio until the other night. All I recall hearing about it is the Internet arguing about it being either "too woke" or "not woke enough". Pffft.

Anyhow, it was a good (though not top-tier) Pixar movie, with a decent balance of gags, heartstring tugs, and visuals.

"Where did you put the present I got from Grandma?"
"I didn't put it anywhere. Where did *you* last see it?"
"It was still in the box right here."
"I just put all the boxes out for recycling."
"DAAAA-AAD!?"

Boxing Day.

Everybody hating on the Odyssey costumes for being historically inaccurate realizes that the Odyssey was also fiction, right?

I don't see anyone complaining about the accuracy of the breed of pigs Circe transforms the sailors into. Yet.

Are there other types of nog, or did we just stop after egg?

If I knew I was flying on a pedophile's jet to his pedophile Island to do pedophile things, I'd maybe insist nobody takes my picture.

Apparently I just don't have what it takes to be a billionaire or politician.

Large Language Models are great and all, but have we tried building Large Knowledge Models?

Large Fact Models?

Large Truth Models?

Large, or -fuck it- SMALL Objective Reality Models?

I think I'm ready to adopt another pup. I pulled down the bin with our old dog's beds and things today, opened it and the powerful scent of DOG washed over me. He passed away 18 months ago, and for the first time I wasn't overwhelmed by grief for him (except as typed this).

Anyhow, meet Tortellini.

Wow, LLMs are dumb.

LLM: You're absolutely right. I should build dozens more data centers and ruin the ecology and economies of multiple municipalities in order to make negligible improvements on a dead-end technology.

Whenever someone complains about the Stranger Things actors showing their age, all I hear is "I actually love how the final season of Game of Thrones turned out."

Donnie, we don't use that word any more. It's been replaced with "intellectually disabled" as in:

Our idiot president is clearly intellectually disabled and should be removed.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Reminder for anyone that has made a major purchase in the last 30-60 days to check the sale price of those items today. You may be due a "price match" refund of the difference.

Maybe the reason Americans consider taxes like a punishment is because we've been trained for generations by using "pay less tax" as an incentive.

It was "feet first" wasn't it?

If the implication was instant wood chipper death, it wouldn't have triggered most people. The idea that Kelly should be aware of, and fully experience the spinning blades shredding her body for the several tortuous seconds it takes to consume her flesh - too much?

Someone wise once said the point of traveling is not to see other countries, but to see your home with fresh eyes when you return.

The skies above my home don't get swirling, glowing, green flames and shimmering curtains of cosmic light, so that's one point for other countries.
