Investigators need your help with an arson case in Salem. A shed fire on Sept. 15 was intentionally set, causing major damage.

Reward up to $5,000 for tips leading to a conviction.

On May 28, 2025, Governor Mike Braun requested a presidential disaster declaration through FEMA for federal assistance related to the March 30 - April 9, 2025 disaster event. FEMA will review the request and send it to President Trump with a recommendation.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Sunil Salyan, a former tenant suspected of setting a fire at a Clark Co. gas station on Feb. 10. IDHS fire investigators ruled the fire was arson. Anyone with info on Salyan’s whereabouts, call the Indiana Arson Hotline: 1-800-382-4628.
