That's cool! Now you've got me wondering about 3d printing parts with the holes already there, power weapons shouldn't be too hard, you could do plasma weapons too.

Well said. It sometimes wonder how much its self selecting too, I mean most of those institutions provide a service to the community at personal cost (financial, emotional etc). The idea that you might do something for others at your own expense is anathema to many modern conservatives.

Exactly this! Aside from the humanitarian arguments there’s the simple fact to control migration if you have transparent processes that people use rather than criminalising it.

Here's the fun bit for right wingers though. If you make it safer and simpler for people to seek asylum, you are more able to run all the relevant checks on people seeking asylum. You are more able to actually tackle gangs. You can focus border force on tackling drugs smuggling etc. 8/

Ages to work out that the issue was they didn’t have the material (zinc or chrome) to properly plate the washers in the engine and so they had a really low service life unless the engines were limited. No point having a winderwaffe if it blows itself up.

There’s a cracking article someone wrote about the fact the allies were confused by German aero engines because they appeared capable of putting out more power than they did in practice. They assumed it was lower quality fuel but after Normandy they discovered the fuel was high quality. It took/1
