WE are the product. You're absolutely correct that they could work without being connected but imagine the data companies would lose. All that data they are selling to insurance companies, data aggregators or for their own use.

It's holding because San Jose mandated this for ALL local and state law enforcement AND DHS/ICE. The state failed because it only applied to DHS/ICE.

Just finished reading the 40 page ruling. JFC this is exactly as in the book 1984 where the government said it gets to decide with the truth is regardless of what anyone thinks and the judge essentially said

Canadian here. Mail-in voting is absolutely a thing here. I've used it extensively. Not once has it been called into question as to the outcome's validity because of it.

I thought this was satire. Someone should skywrite that "Republicans are the only legal party to vote for" and watch how quickly they take that and say "We've received a message from god in the sky"
