Gonna toot my own horn here for a second, but this "Made by only 3 devs (+some other devs" bullshit is why my game credits everyone equally, even if they only contributed one single thing to the game.

The game is here because of everyone who worked on it.

Video games are a fully interactive medium. Every time you press a button - even in a cutscene - you are speaking to the game, and the game is speaking back.

So these minor gameplay changes have breathed new life into MGS3 for me, and ultimately I would recommend this remake.

My theory is that it's because enemies have had their senses boosted, maybe doubled.

I was getting caught again. I got an alert in the damn Virtuous Mission. I no longer owned this jungle.

And so once again, I was Naked Snake. And I once again had to learn to think like a soldier.

Finished Metal Gear Solid Δ. Not too much to say on a near shot-for-shot remake of the OG, but ultimately it's very well-made, and it's incredibly beautiful.

One thing though: Despite playing the OG 4-5 times, the ending hit for me again, same way it did on my first playthrough.

I love cooking up a nice burger myself. But I wouldn't serve it to a vegetarian. They're not allergic to it, but the thing I worked hard on making is just gonna go unappreciated.

Either I would have to find a customer that loves the food I love making, or the customer has to find a different chef.

I think it's a whole different balancing act when you're making something for an existing IP. You need to find someone who's a good fit, who can make good art that acknowledges pre-conceived notions about the IP.
