i grew up with Christian fundamentalists. I see so many similarities in atheist fundamentalists. Both feel entitled to insist on hearing only their absolute theology and make it their priority to angrily correct even when the speaker is voicing personal grief/joy/anger.

Yes I’m not sure why i see folks recommend that we get tested for immunity first, rather than just get another booster? My executive function is very poor, so I just easily scheduled an MMR booster rather than mess with checking for immunity first.

Yeah I don’t think the uptick in respiratory virus infections has anything to do with eating dirt. But “kids are gross plague factories”’is a popular mindset that absolves society from any sense of responsibility for improving school air quality I guess.

Yeah I grew up Evangelical (deconstructed long ago). Had major rapture anxiety as a kid. I can’t believe the things I thought were normal back then. There‘s no amount of therapy that wil completely undo the mess that’s for sure :(.
