I don't think it's childish I think it's immensely human to be disproportionately frustrated by relatively minor things that SHOULD be in your control when there's so much horrible and frustrating shit that's out of your control

you still have to install something but it's not third-party at least? I believe the Windows program Powertools Keyboard Manager should work which isn't packaged in the OS but it's at least an official Windows program so should play nice
