Don't talk to people about con staff, or cons, or anything bad that's happened with a con with you or a friend. No critism is valid if you personally haven't volunteered there apparently, and people will change what you say until they can say you're unreasonable for giving feedback

I'm be honest the last time I said any of this I was piled in pretty strong so it's nice to not have that happen.

I've certainly seen apologies. Sometimes they're good, on time, and thoughtful.

Sometimes though. They're not. They're very much after the fact, they're resentful that they have to change the policy.

I know I've seen it with CFz, MFF, AC. Saying so though gets people so mad at you.

And i work on customers service, have all my life. I know what it's like to take abuse. I know what it's like to volunteer.

Taking feedback is really important too, but that never comes up, it's always blaming the con goers regardless of how they come forwards

It never is. No offense but you never see con staff saying "I'm sorry we really dropped the ball on this and we should have communicated better with our customers"

It's always "the public doesn't know how hard it is, our customers are fools who expect too much" or something like that
