I had to use hacky CSS scripts for years to get scrollable multirow tabs and Floorp just has it as a built in feature which saves me a lot of trouble :D

Ladybird is in development and is very intriguing, however, it's scheduled for 2026 early adopter release and is also Linux first so it will be even longer before it's out for Windows. I swapped to Linux a couple years ago and it's been great but that's a large step for "Good browser" I understand.

Which is a LOT of issues wrapped up in one tbh. Personally I use Floorp as my main desktop browser and switched from Firefox to Waterfox on my phone and media monitor yesterday. They are very enthusiastic and serious about stripping out all the bullshit from Firefox.

And it's not one with a good answer. There are effectively 2 browsers right now, Firefox and variants, or Chrome and variants. Chrome and its reskins give a lot of influence to Google over how the web works which sucks and why people want Firefox variants. If Firefox dies, there's only one browser--
