Tinley Park, IL – Certified teachers in District 146 will not be going on strike next week. A tentative agreement was reached early Tuesday morning between the District 146 Educators Council (AFT Local 604, IFT) and the Board of Education. 99% of the teachers had voted to strike last week if an agreement couldn’t be reached.
