Ok, so I’m 60 and in the south. So, I take this meaning as when you went to kindergarten you might have had to leave that beautiful racist cocoon you had been accustomed to both at home and at church. Civil rights got some laws, but hearts didn’t change. Folks indoctrinate their kids from birth.
