Dog lover, Python fan, empiricist, liberal, republican (uk kind), evangelical atheist.
As various people have pointed out, surely this just shows how completely he had integrated into American society, shooting people is the national pastime after all.

I think we violently agree 😀 I’ve heard the doing his best defence and it drives me spare. Mind you, making money for himself and his mates was the only thing he set out to do, that thousands died was a matter of supreme indifference to him.

Yeah like the one that cost 25000 lives. “He did his best” well that is possibly true it’s just that his best is and has always been woefully inadequate. If he wasn’t posh he would be an unsuccessful petty criminal. The kind that takes photos of himself committing the crime and posts them on TikTok

Johnson’s failures or indeed crimes are always glossed over in the press. Can you imagine the reaction if he was a left wing woman? Weeks and weeks of wall to wall coverage demands for criminal charges the works. But some old public schoolboy, crickets

Yes 63 kinds of shampoo made by two companies!

Every word, the way public school twats are given power beyond their ability and never held to account for their failures is the root cause of all the problems with this country. You even have these people claiming that the are antiestablishment! You are the establishment, it’s literally your fault
Rachael Johnson: "Boris did his best".

Only because his best has always been fucking awful.

Let's consider Boris Johnson, a moral man and a great politician: I'd love to talk about all three of them, but I only have space for Boris.

Worse than Chamberlain, he negotiated to buy time to re-arm, Trump just wants Ukraine to surrender to Russia.

Turkey wasn’t common till 1930s at least according to this www.bbc.com/future/artic... what is it with these right wing idiots always wining about returning to a past that never existed.
How the turkey conquered Christmas
For centuries, pickled boar's head was considered to be the most festive meat. How did this gruesome dish become sidelined in favour of an exotic bird from Mexico?

Anyone who says “well things can’t get any worse” has a pathological lack of imagination.

If it means my feed isn’t flooded with American sports and ‘celebrity’ gossip it would be a positive. No matter how often I select less like this it still turns up. I do think there is space for an ‘interesting’ button so you don’t have to ‘like’ things that are horrible or you total disagree with

Of course in this case it walks more like a goose 😀
