What's so awesome about this is that this helps clean up not just the data on their own site, but the data on all of @igdb.com in general, meaning it's gonna help with every other site/tool that pulls from that database, even sites like @backloggd.com. The impact of this is pretty huge!

Our pals over at @infinitebacklog.net are doing a thing to help improve IGDB data! Go check it out if you want more gaming in your data ;)

Hey! It might be worth noting that a lot of the data on IGDB does come from the devs themselves. In fact we started verifying game devs & publishers on IGDB about a year ago. That could also be another handle maybe, forwarding devs to get verified to get their data up to date and redistributed asap?

Hello! Loving the initiative, this looks like a nice idea. We're primarily a metadata source, so this there would be an obvious angle for our API there? Are you already making use of it for this project?
