I live in Adelaide, 250 yards from the beach, it is 8:42 am it is almost 92 deg F now. It will go past 110F today, we have a week of 100F+ coming. Even here that is a dangerous heatwave.

The mass murder at Bondi was horrific, those who died should be remembered, so should all of those who are murdered. I find it hypocritical to make more of some than others. No day of mourning brings the dead back, nor can it undo the trauma of the survivors

They are making it very hard. How many women day every year just for being women. How many Palestinians died just because they were Palestinians. How many First Nations people CONTINUE to die because of racist law enforcement practices.

Not that I have heard. It isn't easy because of the legal requirements behind road closures. (I help run a couple of events in SA where we have to close public roads.)

Yes it is. They need to start earlier, but that is difficult with all the necessary road closures (which are already sorted and are Police & local council approved) - you need to have all your traffic management people out 3 or 4 hours earlier.
