They have officially committed to opening note format and having an sdk for 2025. From someone who tried remarkable, viwoods and now supernote I agree, supernote is the best of them

Omg so good! Can’t wait to get mine next week

Interesting observation!

Their communication on the other hand is on point. Active on reddit, taking feedback and they sent me another pen to a country they don’t officially sell in. Unlike Remarkable, they just straight up refused me any support (I had defective rmpp)

Yeah ai stuff is hit or miss. My biggest issue with it is how it handles styluses. No calibration option as of now and pressure does not work properly for 3rd party pens, but it’s a software problem and they are aware. Stock pen is just bad

Once sdk is out, button remapping is very easy

About Viwoods, they are releasing sdk early next year so you should be able to remap ai button to anything you want. I have one, the screen is glorious, but software is meh (although they seem to take a lot of feedback and update it regularly). Also their pen is horrible

It will have exact same panel as Viwoods, so carta 1300.

I think reading is the weakest part of paper pro. The screen is grainy and pretty low res. Plus it’s quite low contrast. I returned mine

Yeah, but if you want to implement stuff like handwriting and custom gestures you would need sdk

I think supernote hasn’t released sdk just yet, and no timeline for when it happens
