An excellent meeting yesterday with Minister Peter Burke and his officials within the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment to discuss the priorities for the long-term development of Irish tourism and hospitality, our largest indigenous industry – supporting over 270,000 livelihoods.

An excellent meeting yesterday with Minister Peter Burke and his officials within the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment to discuss the priorities for the long-term development of Irish tourism and hospitality, our largest indigenous industry – supporting over 270,000 livelihoods.
We welcome the new National Tourism Policy launched by the Government today. By placing tourism at the heart of Government policy, this five-year strategy will help ensure the right conditions are created to support the long-term development of our industry.
