Representatives with legal rights to inspect Federal detention facilities are being blocked from doing so.
It’s taken court orders to force access, and then DHS still drags their feet to try and clean up their mess before inspections are made.

My only hope is that the gutting of Chevron precedent by SCOTUS will result in lower courts being able to quickly block these measures for at least a while.
Previously government opinion would have carried more weight, in theory it no longer does.
Then again SCOTUS will do what it wants.
