I took these pictures of one of the towers (I don’t recall which 1) on a high school field trip in 1981. I remember distinctly the top of the tower was in the clouds. My BFF and I went up to the top; not a fan of heights, I remember saying I wouldn’t want to work there. #september11 #neverforget

Ruth Rosa Mühlmann’s brothers circa 1932. Heinz Christian was born Aug 10, 1921. Heinz was conscripted into German Army and is listed as MIA in Stalingrad in 1943. Günter Paul was born Dec 22, 1928. He was the only sibling to survive the war. He lived until Feb 24, 2007. Insta: Finding_Ruth_1941

The Roscius ship built in New York City in 1838, brought Irish immigrants from County Roscommon to NYC on September 19, 1847, including the Padian family for whom Padonia Road in #Baltimore County would be named. Patriarch Richard Padian may have been involved in the Ballykilcline Uprising. #history

6/ received a response back from the Department of Information of the Museum-Reserve of the Battle of #Stalingrad with copies of his letter. The letter in Feldpostbriefe is written to his wife* and is sweet, but melancholy. It was written in pencil, in plain German script, on a tablet of paper.

Ruth’s brother, Heinz Christian Felix Mühlmann, was born 13 mo after his sister to their folks, Emma and Paul. Ruth and her brother Heinz in their grandfather Christian's back garden. Heinz (age 18 in 1939) in his parents’ home at Walbecker Straße 37 - II in Magdeburg. (Site of Ruth’s stolperstein).

Make sure you are your own advocate!! I was very ill during the last part of breast cancer radiation. Radiation doctor and nurse kept telling me NO WAY it’s related, I must have an infection from “something else “. My endocrinologist diagnosed me! Radiation Induced Systemic Inflammatory Response!!
