Mom, educator, CU Regent for CD 6. Standing up for students, the truth, and a CU that works for everyone 🦬🖤💛
What joy to deliver and distribute toys at the Dayton Street Opportunity Center (bit.ly/4940nCb).

This remarkable organization works to improve the lives of children, youth and families in Aurora and it was my delight to participate in this program to bring families holiday joy!

In times of darkness, find the light. This year's Hanukkah celebration was a reminder of the importance of community, family, and tradition. As the holiday season continues, wishing my friends a merry Christmas tomorrow as well!

Winter Commencement for our graduating UCCS Mountain Lions!

Each and every student has a story. As they walk across the stage and pass from this moment and into what comes next, celebrating their accomplishments and aspirations is my distinct honor.

Congrats to our newest CU alums!

When you think you’re done, you’ve only just begun! Congratulations to all the CU Denver and CU Anschutz Medical Campus Winter 2025 graduates. Your story is only just beginning!

I am feeling the same fear and sadness as so many of you regarding the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach in Australia and campus killings at Brown University. We will show that our light endures their darkness. That our love is unyielding against their hate. That together we will beat back these evils

It was an honor to join and represent the University of Colorado at the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado awards ceremony. We got to see folks from all backgrounds and experiences illustrate their impact in Colorado's Latino community over the past year and the progress they've made.

It was great to see both the women and men’s UCCS Mountain Lions basketball teams play at the Gallogly Events Center.

There are so many reasons to be proud of our UCCS Mountain Lions: from the court to the classroom, and even in the community, our student athletes lead!

Wow! This was such a treat to attend CU Boulder's holiday concert. The unbelievable skill and dedication of our musicians and vocalists is truly a sight to behold!

I want to be sure students, faculty, and staff who may need support have access to essential resources. CU has a pantry at each campus location that provides fresh produce, shelf-stable, refrigerated, and frozen food, along with personal care items at no cost to those in need.

I’m proud of CU for taking proactive steps to support our community. CU Denver has expanded hours for Milo’s Market and is hosting food pop-ups with grab-and-go meals to ensure students, staff, and faculty have access to essentials during this time.

With the announcement of Rick George's retirement today, I am especially proud of how Rick championed student-athlete well-being. Under his leadership, CU student-athletes posted record GPAs while gaining access to first-in-the-nation mental health and career support. What a remarkable career, Rick!

With 1000's of military affiliated students, faculty, and staff across our campuses, CU is proud of its support for our armed service members.

This Veterans Day, we honor their commitment to our way of life and the significant role they play in being a critical part of tomorrow's local leadership.

Another important step forward for CU and our Colorado communities. CU Denver and Jeffco Public Schools signed a new direct admission agreement for eligible students. These partnerships save time, money, and make the next step after graduation more accessible.

It was great to connect with so many remarkable women leaders at the Aurora Economic Development Council dinner. Aurora remains a crucial partner for CU, and organizations like AEDC are welcoming sustainable growth for Aurora and working to create well-paying jobs for Aurorans.

CU’s economic impact reached $12.2B across Colorado, supporting 15,000+ jobs and driving prosperity through education, health care, and innovation. $3.9B in CD6 alone!

As Regent, I am proud to help support the work that makes this growth possible.

Although the game didn't go our way yesterday, I had still had a great time cheering on the Buffs with our students and alumni! We got the next one!

As Regent, ensuring that CU is an accessible and inclusive education system is a core part of my work. Strengthening transfer pathways helps build a more diverse student community and saves families time and money when joining CU.

I had a wonderful time representing CU at this year’s Americas Leadership Luncheon. This year’s focus on collaboration, the strength of our diversity, and the intersection of technology and inclusion was deeply inspiring, and it was a joy to support CU Boulder’s Raw Groove dancers.

Honored to meet Olympic skater Gracie Gold at the Johnson Depression Center’s Luncheon. Her advocacy for mental health inspires strength and healing. Grateful to join so many working to expand access to care and reduce stigma.

Great news! The Anschutz Foundation’s $50M gift aims to transform mental health care. As Regent, student well-being is a top priority, which is why I helped create the Traverse Academy in Aurora, a first-of-its-kind university-K12 partnership supporting youth mental health.

#FreeAppDaysCO is less than a week away!

Oct. 7–9, apply to CU Boulder and save on fees. Colorado’s flagship university offers top programs in engineering, science, arts, & law, all while leading with sustainability, courage & care. Proud to help broaden access. Go Buffs!

Ralphie VII understood the assignment at her first game! She and her Handlers did a fantastic job, and I’m always proud to support their important role in our game day traditions. Cheering on the Buffs is such a fun way to connect with students, alumni, community leaders, and familiar faces.
