I absolutely think Social media and algorithms have a huge part to play. But, there seems to be little investigation into why folk are so angry in the first place. I wonder if blaming social media etc is closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. But you do have a point. 👍

Possibly. But I think people were always angry. Social media was a way of amplifying that anger. But don't forget the anger was already there.

I worry a significant number, if not the majority of British voters who vote reform in the next general election will share that scumbags sentiments. What on earth has become of this country?
