They will more than likely double down on having the US as the main host, even if teams start to withdraw. They'll only do something when they realize their money is at stake, by which time it's too late.

If the UEFA powers withdraw from the tournament (Germany is already rattling the sabres with a boycott), they're not gonna have a choice. There's no legitimacy to a tournament without UEFA powerhouses in it.
